“How to lose weight with minimal effort” – see, that’s a book I would read!
Unfortunately for myself and my body, I have lots of things on my mind, and losing weight is only one of them. It’s not even the top one. But I still gotta do it.
Therefore I have sometimes wondered about the easiest way to lose weight, I’ve tried to find the trick on how to cheat my body and spent hours online searching for the easiest way to lose weight, the fastest way to lose weight and to find the secret behind weight-loss.
I’ve come to realise one thing though. It’s not a trick. Not a secret. It’s math. It’s about calories. It’s about consuming and burning calories. And the point is, if you burn more than you consume then you’ll lose weight. It’s that simple.
So stop looking for the easy way out. The easiest way to weight-loss is what you make it out to be. If you lose 100 grams a week it’s still losing weight and it’s not as hard as you might think.
But take my advice, and stop trying to look for the perfect way and just get started on what you know.
I was in the process of typing out my meal plan in English. However, with the different measurements and certain ingredients it wasn’t as easy as I’d thought it would be. And at the same time I stumbled upon a great discovery I thought I’d share.
As you might have read in my earlier posts about the subject Part #1 and Part #2, it was hard for me to get into the habits of healthy eating instead of eating lots of candy and generally buying unhealthy foods.
But first, a disclaimer: I wanna say that I’m not an expert on any of this. I’m not educated and the only experience I have is what I’ve felt on my own body, heard from others and read online. I’m still a work in progress also, so my ways might change as time passes.
My big weakness is candy, chips (crisps) and white bread – amount with pizza and burgers. (more…)
First of all a disclaimer. I wanna say that I’m not an expert on any of this. I’m not educated and the only experience I have is what I’ve felt on my own body, heard from others and read online.
But I wanna share what I did. As I said in my post Weight Loss Journey #1 I’ve gone from 103 kgs to 90 kgs now. I started May 2016 – and got to 90 kgs December 2016. Since then, the last two months has been “quiet”. I haven’t gained, but I also haven’t lost anything. The reason being that I allowed myself a break for christmas, and the fact that I’ve been sick and overcoming minor surgery in January. Now though, it’s time to get back to business.
For this post, however, I wanna share what worked for me. This post will be the beginning. Later I will post more about the progress. (more…)
